Nick Jameson, Tahj Brown, Kenneth Williams, Amy Jones and Trisha Boston are seniors at the private school Rosewood Academy. They've been friends since childhood, and are on their way to adulthood as their senior year comes to a close. Being the the "popular" crowd, they're the center of attention and well-known among students. There is just one problem - their long time and sheltered friend Rin Takahashi. He's the leader of their group and brought up as royalty, though he is the most non-sociable person anyone has every known. He's stiff, rude, expressionless and has never had a girlfriend. His friends are the only people that put up with him, and out of the five, only Nick and Kenneth understand him completely. Through the years with hard effort, they've gotten Rin to open up, but just barely. With their senior year coming to a close, and their friendships having cracks and scarred family secrets, will they stay together and face their problems or drift apart? Will they get their stoic, silent friend to push through his painful silence?
