Before the curse there was once community, a form of unbreakable unity or so the Gnomes thought until one greedy gnome decided to try to steal Hosida's Crystal breaking it in half through the process causing the world to go unbalanced forcing half the gnomes to live to the Sun or Moon.

The third era arrives as a great civil war between the Sun Gnomes and Moon Gnomes break out over conflicts and it's up to Gnogi and Ike to figure out how to fix the balance and bring about Unity
