A Night To Remember (Jalbert)

The rain poured harder, the sun fully set and only left a small glow throughout the park. They sat at a bench, staring down at the water droplets hitting the ground with some small talk.

Jake got up from the bench, wiping away the wet hair from his face and motioning Albert to stand up. He held out a hand, "Wanna dance?" He crouched down a little. Albert looked up from his phone to him.

Jake let him down to his feet, holding out both of his arms to let Albert grab the other. "You know the dance right?" He looked to their hands and slightly adjusted them.

"I.." He thought. Albert had heard and seen of the dance but never actually tried it, "can't promise that I'll be good at it."
