I thought I could live the rest of my life alone and in the sadness and despair. I was truly broken. I lost someone who I cared too deeply for and then I ran away from the one I love the most. 

Now almost 70 years later we are to reunite. The dangerous quest I am to go on could either kill me, or him, or even both of us. But I know one thing and one thing only, I still love him. But I feel deep in my heart that, that is not enough.

Boromir questioned looking towards Gimli as he leaps to his feet "I will be dead before I see the Ring in the hands of an Elf!" Gimli says looking towards me spitefully. "How dare you speak to me in such a manor dwarf!" I said rage in my voice as the council erupted into a storm of arguments. "Never trust an Elf!" Gimli said towards me as I reach for my arrow but a hand grabs my wrist and I feel warm breath on my ear "I wouldn't" Legolas' voice says against my skin as I look at him our faces inches apart. "Fine" I say through gritted teeth as Legolas lets go of my hand softly and stands by my side.
