The main scenario came from the anime from Studio Gibli named 海がきこえる (I Can Hear the Sea) or most known to its English name Ocean Waves. It was released in 1993 and is based on the same-named novel by Saeko Himuro. Set in Tosa and Kōchi (city) in Shikoku, it concerns a love triangle that develops between two good friends and a new girl who transfers to their high school from Tokyo.All Rights Reserved
