In the 2030s, two scientists created MYU-108, a cure for the Dark Plague, but their work led to catastrophe. After one scientist sold the formula to the Nova Foundation, they enhanced it with a mysterious blood sample, but the cure backfired, sparking a global war and nuclear fallout. The plague mutated the infected into monstrous beings, while some survivors gained powerful "Mutations." By 2054, with most of humanity gone, a lone boy, Roi Whitlock, survives a raid that kills his family. With a world-shattering power and a prophecy calling him "The One," Roi must choose: become a hero or let his vengeance destroy everything.
