Ndubuisi's 155th Sonnet
Shakespeare's *Macbeth* was in my syllabus when I was in secondary school. But *Macbeth* was just an appetiser, for I went on to get the complete works of his. It was as I was reading his sonnets that I tried to mimic his 14-line poems-and the rest is history. I did not simply read Shakespeare; I encountered him. In my "mimicking" of his sonnets, I learnt that a word could be stretched from its primary meaning to other "shades" of meaning. Poetry to me is like a pilgrimage, a path of mystery, a ritual that can transport the poet from where he is to where the subject of his writing is, where he achieves a lived experience. This Book which has 50 differently titled Poems , is actually volume 6 of the Book titled - Life = Death - Poems on Life , Death ( 1200 pages ) . This enigmatic collection of poems explores and equates the boundless possibilities of life and death and delves into each intricate inexplicability of survival. Anthology Of Love(Poetry Collection)
Greetings dear readers! This is my first ever poems book. And um I wrote these all based on my personal experiences. As you may journey through chapters of this book based on my life and events throughout. A little sprinkle of the chapters are fictional but nearly all are non-fiction straight from reality. Hopefully you will love this journey with me. Few of these poems are dedicated to my friends or based on their experiences/point of view. Most poems may contain heartbreak or sad feelings but still the majority of the poems are about love, happiness and positivity. I am so glad that I am in a better place now, looking back on my life just a while ago I was not the person I am today. With the help of people I love the most I have overcome everything I needed to dodge. If you are going through something difficult in life, please share it with someone whom you trust more than anything. Remember being happy & positive is what matters the most truly. Life experiences
I've been through my own struggle, whether it was created in my head by way of prolonged sadness or bitterness/resentment, or if I was struggling with things I had no control over like failed friendships, a broken heart, or family drama. This is my advice to you based off of my life experiences.
