Time Cut Movie Review

Time Cut follows a teenager who travels back in time to stop a serial killer who preys on his family. If this premise sounds familiar, you've probably seen Totally Killer, which was released on Prime Video on Halloween 2023. Both films have the exact same premise and share so many plot details (a few minutes) that it smells of plagiarism. Even the killer's mask is almost the same. Time Cut was actually filmed in 2021, which clears him of such suspicions. But the fact that it's coming out a year after Totally Killer is a disservice to director Hannah McPherson's film, as it's the much weaker of the two. Time Cut is Flixter to.
