But now that her family was having problems her dad was on a "trip" to France for working and business reasons, he promised he would be back in less than a year, of course she believed him and money came each month but she and her older brother and mother haven't seen him for many years, it's as if they knew he was alive but no one was there to prove it. Maya didn't know if they were divorced or not and she didn't care, after the memory of what he did to her and her mum when she was 8. Things hadn't been the same, she lost the glint of hope in her eyes and her eyes hadn't shine with naïveté as they used to as the years had flown by.
Since she was so obsessed with sweets and her tummy couldn't handle not eating them, naturally she picked up a job at the local bakery in Holmes Chapel when she was about 15 years old, today she is 19 years old and she is the manager.
