Before I knew it my shirt was torn away from my torso and tossed on the floor, Charlie's doing the same. Our kiss intensified and I felt him groan against my lips. I swear to god, this boy is making out with me like his life depends on it! And that's when reality punched me in the gut... the words 'this boy' kept running through my head over and over again until it got through the thick fog of vodlka and whatever else was in those stupid drinks. I, Ace Loughty, was kissing a guy. A fucking guy. A fucking straight guy named Charlie Simmons who of course had to be one of the most popular dickheads in Meadow Ridge High. I am so unbelievably fucked. ----- 17 year old Ace Loughty was never one longing to be in the spotlight. In fact, he craved the exact opposite: being left alone. When Ace was 13, the tragic death of his younger sister Eleanor caused him to rapidly gain popularity and pitiful looks. He hated the attention. All of a sudden everyone wanted to be friends with the dead girls brother, they'd promise Ace he would never be alone that they would always be there for him, which he of course knew was untrue, they're all just hungry for attention. Sometime later the school moved onto other drama and gossip, things started to die down and people finally left Ace alone. He moved on with his life, convincing himself he was over Eleanor's death and as quick as the whole thing started, he returned to being lonely, weird, quiet nobody Ace. Just how he liked it. That is until 4 years later when he found himself sprawled out on a bed. With Charlie Simmons hovering over him. Charlie Simmons who was kissing Ace like he would die if he ever dared to stop. Which was all too true. Without kissing Ace, Charlie was as good as dead. *WARNING*: This story will contain themes of severe depression, suicide, abuse and somewhat graphic depiction of self harm. What would you do if you wake up at the hospital after an accident? How would you feel after finding out that the person you love the most died in that accident? How would you recover from the pain and grief of your lost? What would you do if find out that you died on an accident? What if you had to leave your family and your beloved ones behind? How could you fix things if you're not longer alive? Emma and Tyler had an car accident while going home after prom. A drunk driver hit them and Tyler died. Emma alive has to live with the grief of losing someone, but can she move on? Can she let go? Tyler, meanwhile, left his family and his lover alive while he finds his way to settle the things he left incomplete before he can go to heaven. Love never dies, and even though there is pain on the journey, at the end there will be hope.

I lost everything in a matter of moments. The memories of the crash are all that kept me going; I had to for everyone that lost their life that day. The guilt that I had to live with was terrible. Why couldn't someone else live? I was ready to die; I knew it was going to happen... I was prepared....

“ I have been nothing but good to you for the past two years!” I yell into my cell phone. I’m so angry and frustrated that my knuckles turn white from holding onto the steering wheel so tight. “And you know what Gary, I’m soooo done being with you, we’re through!” Then before giving him a chance to reply I hang up. I know that if I listen to him and his smooth talking I might just fall for his prince charming attitude, again. “uggh!” I screech into the empty SUV. The rain was coming down harder than when I left the party, making it hard to see through the pitch black. I knew I shouldn’t be driving so fast in such weather and it being a deserted road didn’t help. I look down to see that I’m going 50 miles per hour on a 25 miles per hour road. But before I could do anything about the speed, I see that dark figure that changes my life forever. It was standing in the middle of the road, facing my car not looking like it’s going to move. Not wanting to hit it I swirl out of the way but lose control on the slippery road. I desperately try to take control of the vehicle, knowing I can’t, I cry out as it hits a tree and the world goes dark. Alexander Miles lived a perfect life, full of good grades and wild parties. Her parents let her do most anything, her friends are amazing and her boyfriend Gary couldn’t be sweeter. Yes life was good! But one night something didn’t feel right when Gary called and explained he was going out of town. Following his car, he parks in front of an out of control party. Still confused about him lying she followed her boyfriend into the party and finds him with another girl; worst of all, that girl has had a lifelong grudge on her. On the way home she gets into a car crash living her in a coma. During the time while she’s in a coma her friends and family visit her and surprisingly she can hear them talking to her.
