Little Boy Named Train

A little boy left alone at a Colorado train station is found by three ten-year olds, who take him back to California with them, treating him like a little brother. They call him "Train". As Train grows, he longs to travel all over. He often visited the train station, doing work and in return getting a train ride to another city. He visited all the cities in California, and now he wants to see the rest of the world. Meeting with the trio he grew up with at age 7, Train discovers they have formed a band and they're getting more and more renowned as the days pass. Maybe their upcoming tour across the country will be the ticket he needs! This is the tale of a boy and his adventure across the country with a band known as Green Day.

[It is worth noting that most of my fanfiction works involving real people have a slightly altered timeline/universe aspect to them. Therefore, some landmarks with real people in these stories is inconsistent with those that have happened in real life.]
