The dragon's son

The year is 2012. The world we live in now is change from what it had been. Now there are monsters,magic,heroes, kings, and dragons. The only problem is that a war is being waged. In this time a young General and his wife are traveling past the formidable mountain pass called Devil's Pass. As they are passing they are ambushed and the man killed. The only survivor is himself and his tenth month old son. The man is weak and takes his son to the dragon's den. He hoped for the boy to die. The dragon found the boy and upon seeing the strength in the child took him in as his own.
Now, eighteen years later, the boy is as strong as the dragon he was raised by. The boy hasn't seen the differences between them and the dragon doesn't say anything about them. But the thing is that others know of this boy. The dragon prince some say. The one with the abilities of a dragon. At this time another war is being waged. One that needed strong soldiers. They drafted the boy. This is his story.
