Ranma Saotome's life has never been simple, but falling into the "Drowned Mermaid Spring" in Jusenkyo has turned things from complicated to absurd. Now, every time he gets splashed with cold water, instead of transforming into just a girl, he becomes a mermaid with long red hair, trapped in a form as powerful as it is embarrassing. To make matters worse, his father has promised him in marriage to one of the Tendo daughters, who are also not too thrilled about having a fiancé who is half human and half fish.
As he tries to adapt to life at the Tendo dojo and desperately searches for a way to reverse his curse, Ranma discovers that Nerima is full of surprises... and water at the most inopportune times. With each splash, new adventures, misunderstandings, and unexpected friendships arise.
Will this be the beginning of a love that transcends curses, or just an endless chaos? In this story, martial arts combine with surrealism and laughter to create a whirlwind of confusion and camaraderie.
