When Rhaenys was younger, she would have laughed at the words of good Queen Alyssane when she said, "Daemon may be wild and unpredictable in many ways, but he has an incredible soft spot for little Rhaella." when Rhaenys looked back at it, she cursed herself where she was so blind that she didn't see it either, he would have done anything for her.
Whether that meant sneaking into town or the Dragon Pit, or flying to Driftmark every month just to see her for a few hours. She knew he would destroy people and burn cities for her.
That was exactly the type of connection the two had.
He was the wild force and she was the calm rock that kept him from losing his humanity. Yet Rhaella also acquired a certain malevolent nature from Daemon that only became apparent in later years.
Rhaenys could tell it was weak to expect Rhaella and Daemon to be stopped only by some marriage contract with Rhea Royce.

As the ones who kill him, was a terror thought slain, a clint of blue seen in the eyes who kill him. Brandon Stark was no more and wasn't since the Battle of Long Night. Knowing the world will fall into eternal Night and death will come for all. Gods of old send him back to into the time of the world when it lost one of its most valued strengths against the coming darkness. After hearing the gods, Jon accepts that he's reborn as Aemon Targaryen, son of Baelon Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, marking a new era. The gods hope the world is better prepared for the war, too. If he fails the gods, he won't have the power to revere it again. (Jon is sent back to times of the Dance of Dragons : The story starts on the second moon of the year 92 A.C.) The gods will send some other changes into the world. A Black dragon supposed to fade burns again, and mother, once lost, is seen again. So what happens when gods throw one last dice to help mankind? The Peace Makers
The night Daemon came back from the Step Stones, ended completely different. Him and Rhaenyra did go out and they did go to a brothel and daemon did in fact TRY to abandon Rhaenyra but she didn't allow that. Rhaenyra found out she was pregnant just a few months into her marriage to Ser Laenor. Aemma Velaryon (Targaryen) would become the Realms fury, in many ways she touched people's lives, all who met her loved her dearly but would never challenge her, she was ferocious and formidable in every fight she fought. A true Dragon, Rhaenyra and Daemon's perfect mix. The one who truly loved her though was her Uncle Aegon... and their story became some what similar to her own mother and fathers.

Alright, here's the tale. We all know that story about the Dance of the Dragon, and how Aegon and Rhaenyra fought each other to sit on the iron throne. However, in this book, there is another candidate for the Iron Throne. In this story, Daemon and Rhae Royce have a son named Rhaenor. He was different than most people, he was a prodigy at swordsmanship, smart in politics, and well-liked by all. However, despite everything; the relationship with his parents was tense as both Daemon and Rhae would try and mold him into their image. But he refused to follow their way and decided to become his own person. While he did love his parents the relationship he had with them began to strain when he was ten. His mother and the Vale lords tried to betrothed him to Lady Jeyne Arryn, however, Rhaenor refused the betrothed and went with Daemon to the capital. Rhaenor would spend most of his time in King's Landing, where he became friends with his cousin Rhaenyra and her friend Alicent Hightower. During 112AC, King Viserys, who was unable to produce an heir of his own, decided to name his nephew Daemon's son Rhaenor Targaryen as his heir. Something that surprised everyone, including both Daemon and Rhaenyra. When Rhaenor asked Viserys why he was chosen to be heir to the throne, Viserys stated that Rhaenor was the only person in the kingdom he could trust to be honest with him. While he was Daemon's son he knew that he was different from both his parents combined.
