Namaku Katherine Moorse. Aku biasa dipanggil Kate. Aku berumur 15 tahun. Aku tinggal bersama paman dan bibiku di Amerika karena ayah dan ibuku sudah meninggal. Rumah kami di dekat pantai. Aku suka menyelidiki misteri bersama sepupuku. Mereka tinggal di kota lain. Nama mereka Robert Andrews, Peter Alexander, dan Chloe Charlotte. Sekarang ini aku lagi jatuh cinta dengan Jordan, anak pemilik hotel bintang 5, ia sangat kece menurutku. Umurnya 17 tahun. Rumahnya hanya beberapa blok dari rumahku. Tetapi ia biasanya sering mengganggu penyelidikanku. Sepupuku tidak menyukainya. Mereka tidak tahu aku suka padanya tetapi jika mereka sampai tahu, aku tidak tahu apa yang akan mereka katakan.

"Take the small one, she isn't human." Another officer came over and started to take her from my arms. She let go in shock but I grabbed her arm and I tugged back but I didn't want to hurt her. "No!" I yelled ...................... "Katerina!" She yelled "Anna!" I screamed I screamed her name as I woke up covered in sweat, I was panting and out of breath. I sat up and looked all around me. My room was dark and all that was on was my radio. I had this dream almost every night since I was taken away from Anna. This dream was real, it did happen. As you know now I am not fully human, I was not created a normal way. I was created and I am a monster...... Katerina (Kat) isn't normal but only she knows that. After she was taken away she decided to live her foster life as a shadow but sadly that doesn't work as she bounces from foster family to foster family, from school to school, and from town to town. She is constantly expelled from schools and gets into fights. After a while everything gets the best of her. After moving with a new foster family and she goes to a new school, she realizes that maybe she is not alone. She struggles with who she wants to be and who she really is, as she tries to find out how many more of her kind exist without blowing her cover
