What if a shoemaker fell in love with a princess, and won her hand with a pair of beautifully crafted slippers?
Aidan, an overworked and underpaid cobbler employed by his late father's greedy business partner, has one goal in life: to build a better life for himself and escape his harsh reality.
When the king declares a ball at which the most unique gift will win the princess's hand, Rosie, Aidan's childhood friend, asks for help escaping her father's decree, Aidan begins to craft his gift. But as the evening of the ball draws near, tragedy strikes and it is up to a jolly old man and a pair of elves to help set things right.
The Elves and the Shoemaker meets a gender-flipped Cinderella.

Cinderella

26 parts Complete

In this retelling of a classic tale, Mariette struggles through life with a stepmother that hates her. When she is whisked away at the prince's ball, she begins to believe that her life is going to change-that is until the prince discovers that her slipper is a perfect fit for her stepsister. Fighting the urge to confess her secret, Mariette and her family move into the prince's castle, where old friends-and fiancés-are reunited. Note on Setting: This takes place in a kind of fictional France (hence many of the names, though they speak English). Postscript: "Lady" is a title given to woman married to a man with an estate, much like "Queen" is given to a woman married to a man with a castle. "Mistress" is given to a woman yet to inherit an estate, though of high-class breed (one would not refer to a beggar or maid as 'Mistress'). Monsieur (pronounced Mi-syur, despite the spelling) is a title given to a man that has yet to or has inherited an estate.
