In a world full of legends, the forces of the great kingdoms collide. In the south, the mountainous Kingdom of Humans sparkles, while in the north, the icy Vampire Kingdom stands out. A merchant sailing vessel is on the final voyage of the trade season, a journey made more difficult due to the changing weather and the failing of the winds. The world is on the edge of disaster, forests have been harvested to the brink, and the summers have grown hotter and longer. Led by Cleo, the first mate, the crew discover a burned-out ship adrift on the high ocean. They discover pirates have murdered everyone on board except for a princess and her two servants. What attracts Cleo to this princess, and what is her connection to the land? Supernatural forces rise to stop them in their quest to return the princess safely to her home.
