Ana Rose Routledge is the twin sister of John Booker Routledge and they are about to be in trouble. Their dad has gone missing and is now presumed to be dead and the only family member that is supposed to be taking care of them is also nowhere to be seen.
That is when they embark on a treasure hunt that will change their lives and perspectives on life on the Outer Banks and brings her a new dilema:
which is one worse? loving a pogue or a kook?
