I stormed out of the house, as the large clock in the hall beamed for the twelfth time. Megan came running after me. “Please don’t be afraid. Nothing is going to happen to you.” She yelled after me. I ran into the limousine and slammed the door shut. The words they had spoken were still echoing in my head,
