To be a super-powered solider, you need to sacrifice a lot. Your morals. Your safety. Your peace of mind. Your love. Your life.

But when Quaith wakes up in a cell, she cannot remember anything. Not even her name. She knows she's somehow not fully human, but she cannot remember how. And she's not the only one who was forced to undergo a painful mind Reset.

Orothos is her friend, who might be more than that. He, too, cannot recall anything. When he and Quaith find themselves in a cell upon waking up unable to remember anything, he knew one thing - he has to protect her. They both are mentally linked, allowing them to telepathically speak and feel each other's emotions and pains. But there's so much more than that between them.

Aegis is Quaith's forgotten partner. And she will stop at nothing to make sure Quaith remembers her, and they can keep each other close. She will do whatever it takes to help Quaith and save her from this mental Reset that the powers that be did to her.

But they are not the only ones in peril. The world has ended. The government is now in control of everything, and the four remaining cities of their small country are in chaos. Because of this, they will use the super soldiers that they've created to enact martial law.

When Quaith and her team are sent on a particularly horrible mission by the government, everything for them changes. Lives are lost, and new lives put in danger. No one knows who is truly an ally or a villain with a knife behind their back. But soon enough, all will become clear for them. And it isn't good.
