Distrustful of a greedy King Stefan and the war that he pursues to broaden the reach of his kingdom, Maleficent decides to punish him, and put true loves kiss to the ultimate test, by cursing his newly born daughter Aurora at her christening. 


Basically, even though it was a good film, I got frustrated with the storyline of Maleficent and thought it could have been done so much better. So this is a retelling of the Maleficent point of view fairytale of Sleeping Beauty. (And yes she is actually evil in this one.)
