Born into a long line of scholars and mystics, Luminara was always drawn to the arcane. Her family, known as the Luminaries, served as the royal advisors and guardians of ancient knowledge for the Kingdom of Aetheria. The Leighton library was her playground, filled with tomes and artifacts that whispered secrets of the cosmos. Her mother, a renowned enchantress, taught her the subtleties of weaving spells from the fabric of reality, while her father, a wise and just judge, instilled in her the importance of balance and wisdom.
When Luminara was just seventeen, she stumbled upon a prophecy hidden within the ancient scrolls that spoke of a cataclysmic event that would plunge the world into darkness. The prophecy spoke of a 'Silver Flame' that would rise to combat this malevolent force. Convinced that she was the one foretold, she embarked on a quest to hone her skills and uncover the truth. Under the tutelage of the reclusive archmage Elysian, she mastered the art of celestial magic, harnessing the power of the stars themselves.
For the past eleven years, she has traveled across Elara, seeking knowledge and allies, and battling the shadows that seek to bring about the prophecy. Her journey has taken her to the highest peaks and the deepest trenches of the world, where she has encountered diverse cultures, creatures of legend, and powerful artifacts that have shaped her understanding of the cosmos.
A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places.
