He watched the dried eyes of his father who sat in front of her now cold lifeless body. He shook his mother once and then again calling out to her, crying out “Maa” as he shook her. As tears streamed down his eyes he looked up into his father’s eyes that seemed to be lost into another world. The boy’s lips quivered as he said “Baba?” but he did not get any reply from his father. That was when he realised for the first time that the walls had started to crumble. ~niviaaru~

In which Sakura tries to figure out if she's been sent to the past-or an alternate universe with suspicious tweaks. Dying was everything she had expected, an inevitable event, bound to happen sooner rather than later (a lot sooner, actually)-an unstoppable force, driven by the arm of a rabbit goddess piercing through her, and just barely not enough will to survive. And yet, it was nothing she could've ever prepared for. Not when she found herself four years old again, and a pink-haired stranger roamed her strangely empty house, claiming to be her brother. - "Sakura had one thought, waking up screaming her lungs out. Shit. Because she wasn't supposed to be screaming. She wasn't supposed to have a voice at all. And she sure as hell wasn't supposed to know that."
