Awaken

Awakened* is a dark, twisted supernatural tale set in the decaying heart of Port Harcourt, a city suffocating under the weight of its own forgotten sins. The story begins when a college student, driven by an insatiable curiosity, inadvertently unleashes an ancient God-Silvia , the God of Smoke-by opening a cursed coffin buried deep beneath the city.

As the city descends into madness, four unlikely friends: Justine, Doka, Chinedu, and Paris. Each is scarred by their own demons, haunted by the dark corners of their pasts, and driven by a singular, desperate need to survive the overwhelming darkness.

As the group faces increasingly horrific supernatural forces-twisted creatures, vengeful spirits, and the very fabric of reality itself warping around them-they are forced to confront their darkest impulses. Their bond will be tested as they face the journey of an unforgiving world, where every choice they make is soaked in blood, every act of defiance a step closer to losing their humanity. In the end, they will face a terrible question: In a world devoured by darkness, can one truly remain human? Or will they too become monsters?
