In this slight AU fan fiction, Alaric Saltzman takes a 25 year old woman under his wing after rescuing her from being a blood bag in some terrible circumstances. With his busy schedule, filled with classes, girlfriends and teen angst; He decided it'd be best to find his new codependent partner a new 'handler'. And who better for the job than a Salvatore with nothing to do besides bother his brother?

Damon Salvatore was only open to this because it gave him something to do. But now he was in it, it was because Love made him feel needed.
