In the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War, Hermione Granger discovers she is the twin sister of Theodore Nott, a former Slytherin. Having used the Obliviate charm on her parents to protect them, Hermione finds herself alone.

When she learns about her biological connection to the Nott family, Hermione grapples with loss and confusion regarding her identity. Theodore, who has faced the burdens of his father's legacy as a Death Eater, offers his support, and they begin to form a bond. He invites Hermione to live with him at the Nott estate, presenting her with an opportunity to explore her heritage and redefine what family means.

But it is not just Theodore Nott that enters her life but several of the Slytherins she spent her years at Hogwarts hating. Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Lorenzo Berkshire, Pansy Parkinson and the Greengrass sisters are abruptly a part of her new life. But maybe, just maybe they are not all that horrible.
