Nessian fanfic, told from 1st person but both of their points of view. Nesta Archeron, alone and almost forgotten, has embittered all but Elaine against her. She reckons she'll spend the rest of her immortal life drinking and wallowing in her misery, hating her family and all they stand for. Cassian can see no way to help her, and her constant rebuttal has taken it's toll on him, too. He needs to find a way to help her, but how, when every hand extended in friendship ends up burned? *These are not my characters, they belong to sarah j maas.*
