I never really finished watching marble hornets so I won't entirely base this off it and will probably end up down the slender mansion rabbit hole. Sorry if you're not the biggest fan of that kinda stuff and lean towards the marble hornets lore; I'm just doing this as a fun little thing so lore accurate isn't the vision at the moment. I just want the writing to be good and be genuinely vague about the reader. So many times when I'm reading they make it that the reader has super long hair or has them put on example blue eye contacts to be 'under cover'. It doesn't really pay attention to those outside the common going off of long brown hair and brown eyes. They also make it that the reader speaks another language and make it very prevalent in the story and not including translations. I myself am German but I know not everyone speaks it and it won't apply to as general of an audience as 'reader'. Sorry for all the word vomit, I'm just very picky about fics which is not the best in a fandom as dead as the creepypasta fandom lol. It seems to be gaining traction again which I'm very happy about! I've been reading fics of the fandom since I was 7 or 8 so they hold a very special place in my heart.

This is my version on how Tim and Brian (Or Masky and Hoodie) became proxies to the myth Slenderman. There's a lot of conflict in most of the fandom about whether they are or aren't proxies. So I thought i'd give my reasoning on how they ended up leaving The Operator and succumbing to Slender and joining him.
