Matthew, Prince of Kijamamewa, falls in love with the one type of person his parents won't allow... a maid.
Matthew gets a vision, his vision tells him he has to go to a place where the Conjurers live, The Night Shadow's Temple. Matthew goes on a journey to go to this mysterious temple.
Elehus, the leader of the Conjurers, invites Matthew in to be trained as a Conjurer. There he meets the other apprentices. One of the apprentices are different from all the other ones, but how?
Matthew must learn the way of the Conjurers in order to survive, and in order to save the Conjurers from Raqum, the leader of the Lifeless-Souls.
