I could go on telling a story of my life, about how it sucked after the outbreak...but that wouldn't help worth a shit. So along the lines of it all we were forgotten and left to die by the world. What the hell kinda death is that though!?Why not make the best of it while you can?

Dystopia Rising
The world ended long ago, riddled with plague and zombies and destruction. But humanity survived, and humanity evolved. The Infection that helped bring the world to its knees also changed humans in ways to help them keep living in this now broken world ready to be rebuilt. Seven lineages with three strains each, and each have their own unique set of traits that help us survive. But that's not what this story is about-at least, not really. This story isn't about how a hero will rise and bring the world back to what it was Pre-Fall. This story is about me, an ordinary Remanat living life through the world day to day as a mercenary. A beginner mercenary as everyone likes to remind me. The others in my group have been calling me 'Rookie' since I joined them three months ago. I'm beginning to wonder if they actually know my name. We have been hired to help the New Reach Caravan travel across the wastelands to Philly Del Phia, and this is the perfect opportunity to show them that I'm not just a dumb Rookie. I'm actually quite good at my job. I just happen to get distracted by one certain Eight-Ball, but it's not my fault he's good-looking, and charming, and funny... Anyway, all I have to do is help my group get the caravan to Del Phia. Should be an easy enough job. Just avoid the zoms and keep clear of the Raiders, and we should be fine... Right? They said the world was ending, but it didn't start with fire or war. It began with a storm-just like any other. But this time, it didn't stop. The rain fell for days, then weeks, and then came the flood that drowned everything. When the sun finally broke through the clouds, people thought it was over. They thought it was hope. But that hope was a lie. The sun scorched the land. Insects bred in the rotting water. Plague spread like wildfire. Water became scarce, food even scarcer. They said Mother Earth was angry, and I believed them. I did everything to survive. Even if it meant relying on a filthy, twisted man for bread. He preyed on girls like me-young, desperate, orphaned. He fed us, clothed us, and in return, demanded we sell our bodies. He called it "the price of protection." Men came to us like vultures. They stripped away our innocence and left us hollow. And then, one winter night, starving people stormed our hideout. They came with knives and desperation. I threw myself in front of the youngest girl when one lunged to stab her. I took the blade meant for her. As my body went cold, I felt no fear. Just peace. Finally, I thought. This nightmare is over. But when I opened my eyes again... I was in my bed. Warm. Dry. Dressed in pajamas. It hadn't been a nightmare. It had been real. And now, it's happening all over again. But this time, I won't be weak. This time, I won't be used. This time... I'll survive. No matter the cost.
Beginning Of Sorrows
The world has been sent into utter chaos. Storms beyond explanation, sounds echoing threw the sky. Trumpets sounding from the cloud above...but why? All things no one can explain. Then it gets worse. It starts with a cough, then a fever, then hallucinations. Before finally...you turn. Being turned into a flesh seeking monster. You have no control. And we have no escape, it's either kill or be killed, fight or die, scavenge or be eaten. The only way out of the nightmare is death. A cruel, scream filled death. It feels like I'm living in a world full of lies... My life is full of lies. My life is wreck. My life is a disaster. I want to run but I can't. There holding me back. They keep me chained to this horrible place. The pain they give me is unbearable but I need to survive this hell hole just to escape. It seems like there lies are already enough to give me pain but they don't stop there. They keep doing it as if they want me to be dead from this pain. I was alone. At least I thought I was. Until he came. He was my new neighbor. He is an irresistible bad boy. When he came into my life it was just like your car crashed into a concrete wall and you went flying because of the impact it made. It all happened so fast. So quick. I didn't even realize what was going on. By the time I did however, it was far too late. They were all gone. All dead. Or, I guess you could say that they are somewhat alive. They're living, after all. They're the living dead. I'm so stupid. I should have be faster, I should have noticed. Death is only the Beginning (EDITING)
The Wildfire Virus. That's the illness the eggheads have called dubbed that has spread alarmingly fast all over the world. No could figure out at first how and where it came from or how even spread so quickly. I was on leave, visiting brother in Boston when the infection hit. Yesterday, the world was normal with its own conflicts. The next, millions get sick, hospitals are overwhelmed, and any sort of space was converted into a makeshift hospital to handle all the sick. On day 2 the sick died and awoke attacking the living. I tried to get out of the city, but the military closed off every major access point and now I'm trapped within, along with millions of undead.
