When five billion people are unexpectedly decimated in an instant, who could really ever predict what they’d leave behind?  In Forecasts, sporadic lethal waves of emotion surf the solar winds and wash over a lunar colony.  Dr. Serena Watanabe, a top psych pharm, is used to coolly talking lunar colonists off ledges during these periods of emotional maelstroms.  So far, Serena's toughest case is getting her brother, Ronny, to buy in to regular pharm dosing to ride out these deadly storms.  When an unprecedented forecast of homicidal rage and suicidal depression is predicted, Serena risks her life to try to save Ronny from its destructive path.  Their different views of what it means to be alive will ultimately tear them apart.
