Edgar Valden awakens after a peculiar dance with death, his heart still throbbing from the lethal encounter. He was sure he had died, succumbing to the heart wrenching curse bestowed upon him by that strange woman.
And yet, by some miracle he still breathed like any other. If he hadn't been alive then, he felt like he was alive now.

But how was that possible?
