Seattle was the home of the once seemingly happy couple, Nathan and Adaline. And they were, happy and in love. No one would believe that they had their own problems to deal with behind closed doorsα ³ and until that one traumatic event there were never any problems, they were happy. But their happiness began to crumble when Nathan lost himself in grief, numbing his frustration with bottles of whiskey and other substances, turning him into a completely different person. All that while Adaline swallowed the pain that she carried deep inside her chest and watched her husband change into someone she started to fear. The question is if there ever will be a way back to the happy life they once had together? Because that's all both of them craved.
Nathan wanted to change, he deeply regretted every mistake he made when he finally realized who he had become, what he had done to Adaline. But was his wife, beyond broken and scarred, really ready to trust him again after she had been abused for months?
β’ This is a story about DV and the way back to a normal life. I do NOT support violence against women in any way, I'd never. With this story I just want to show that people can change and move mountains if they really want toα ³ which unfortunately doesn't happen often. If you find yourself in such a situation, please talk to someone.
