Ariana Butera is a broken girl with a broken past. When her parents were killed in the midst of a gang war, she was placed under the care of her drug addict aunt and alcoholic uncle. After years of abuse, she decided that it was enough and ran away to Los Angeles. Changing her name to Ariana Grande and struggling to keep a steady work, she meets Justin Bieber, who offers her a job as his maid. She accepts, but she doesn't know that Justin knew more about her than she thought.

"How do you know so much about me when I don't even know myself?" Ariana whispered, her eyes flickering from his eyes to his lips.
Justin pressed his body closer to Ariana's, pushing her higher against the wall so her face was in line with his. Ariana could feel his breath on her face as he talked. "Sometimes lost souls aren't alone."
