This really cute guy wasn't one. After witnessing her dead teacher come back to life, Leo decides to go on the run. Armed with a backpack full of essentials (does portable chargers count?) and her Dad's rifle, she learns to survive with the help of new friends. Zombie apocalypses can bring unlikely people together. But how close are they getting?

Finding themselves stranded in a zombie apocalypse, the eight friends realize they have very little chance of survival. They rush to quickly get out of town and to what they think might be safety. But little do they know that no where is safe. It seems like things only get worse at every turn. Everyone is physically and mentally exhausted and it's all they can do not to give up. Will they survive against the odds? Or will they join the apocalypse?

A Cure goes horribly wrong, creating a zombie virus which quickly spreads across Australia. It reaches to a large friendship group and forces it to momentarily split into three. On this journey all they can rely on is, luck, skill and trust.... which most of them lack. They will have to test their extents of their friendship and when they meet and join once again, their final aim evolves from just 'surviving', to finding a cure. But in the end they're still just a group of immature teenagers with a fitting immature sense of humor. This is quite a light hearted story with a few dark moments.
