After I hit Charles, paralyzing him from the waist down, I felt obligated ask if wanted to stay at my house till he could get back on his feet, metaphorically of course. He offered me a place to stay till I got the hang of my new life style, an offer I couldn't decline. I found that they were rather poor and since I came from a sickeningly rich family, I decided to pay for a few things. But who knew he would make such an impact on my life. When Erik hits Charles while driving home to his two children, Peter and Wanda, he is filled with guilt. Charles, being the person he is, forgave him.
