Seven years have passed since the attack on Tenrou Island. From the attack, only Oswald was found as the sole survivor and has been in a coma since then.

Fairy Tail's really suffered with the disappearance of the guild master, S-Class wizards, and strongest mages. However, the missing members have returned and Oswald has reawaken from his coma.

Now, it's time for Fairy Tail to reclaim its title as the strongest guild by competing in the Grand Magic Games. During this, they'll meet familiar/new faces, and make rivalries with other participants in the high stakes games.
