In the quiet of my own mind

I spent most of my life following paths I never choose ,not because I wanted to but, because no one ever asked me what I wanted .My dream was always shaped by someone else ideas for what was best for me .They told me which career to pursue, which dream to chase ,but never once did they stop to ask ,"What does your heart truly desire?"Now,lost in the quiet of my own mind ,I'm faced with the questions I never had the chance to answer - who am I really? what do I truly want ? its time to finally find my own voice and write the story of my own choosing ,free from the weight of other people expectations
