The Earth is a fragment of its former self, desert and wastelands spanning miles. Humans took to the stars in hopes of survival and after developing more advanced technologies we have been able to begin to rebuild. A group of renegades, bandits, mercenaries as you may who in time define a generation and make legend fight their way through a perilous and dangerous era. Thievery, conspiracy and death are rampant. With the memory of the great fall of Earth and its anniversary nearing a shadow lurks. Archgear, a company in which rose to spotlight in humanities darkest hour suddenly gained influence, but secrets stay lipped and with a familiar ghost to arrive, a hooded phantom brings chaos. An ex soldier and his group of misfits encounter the darkness, they intern search for the true cause of the fall. However perhaps the answer is far close to home

At the beginning of time there was the black king, a mad man who ruled over everyone on earth. He crafted a crown worthy of his majesty, a black crown capable of amazing feats which only helped to increase his power. On the day it was made, a slave witnessed how the crown was made and forged his own crown, a white crown to beat back the darkness in the black kings heart. This white king would go on to lead a rebellion and in the final battle, give his life to slay the mad black king. After this legendary battle, the black and white crown went on being passed from person to person, from heroes to villains until they were lost. After earth was nearly destroyed during "the event" the crowns have resurfaced once again. After the people who found them died the crowns found their way to two "meta" humans. Human beings of insane amounts of power able to shatter planets with ease. But with the world now controlled by seven immortals and the four beings:death, the man of shadows, the lady in the light and the warden, standing watch from different dimensions can the crowns achieve their former states. The black king is once again respected by powerful friends and feared by his enemies, while the white king is once again seen as lowly as a slave. Survivors have split into factions and are forming rival gangs in which they are disappearing at exponential rates due to government kidnappings. Rumor is, the government is planning a meta human attack by altering the dna of those who've been taken. Once word is out everyone has to decide whether gang related battles are more important than life itself as they know it. If that isn't enough they join forces with omniscient beings, extraterrestrials, and some beings that cant really be put into one category. I died for some ridiculous reason and woke up in another world. In a universe where women who are not nobles are considered worthless objects, I was a peasant woman. In a universe where all witches had already been burned, I was a witch. The most beautiful curse I could find to express myself turned into praise. ✏️ This is not a literary work.
