"Promise me you'll stay strong, for me, for us" Smiling at the older boy below him Blake rested his forehead upon Alec's. "I promise" Hearing these words Alec smiled once more. That promise was all he needed to keep going. For them, for Blake. *** Blake was a nerd, shy, Introverted. Doesn't have many friends other than the school librarian, parents and the local café owner. He's never been one to interact with his fellow classmates. Always been put down upon, bullied by the schools football team. He has everyone and everything in his grasp. He can do whatever he pleases at school. He began bullying Harvey on the second day of his arrival. It became more violent in the recent months. What could be the reason for this? How will the school react to Harvey's wide range of skills and talents? "I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. "I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. Now all that remains are the beasts of this world. Dragons have been a part of human mythology for centuries, along with another species, Demons. Now known as Krylocks, an ancient warlord threatens the very existence of all things pure, and two girls stand in his way. The Innocent, and The Shadow. So far I have only completed the first 5 chapters, the rest I will be working on while this is out. I'm releasing this so early for input, just to see what you guys think and what I should change. Where Max somehow gets roped into one of his sister's stupid schemes and ends up in way over his head, completely out of his comfort zone, and quite sure he's just met his dream man. "Cool," Max said and wondered if 'Kevin' was a name that fit this attractive man. "And what's your name?" Kevin prompted after a short pause and Max cleared his throat, embarrassed. "Oh, sorry.
