A war between two countries (that are connected by a bridge) over magic, this leads us to our two main characters Elvina and Marilyn. Elvina, a royal on the side that Believes they deserve all the magic, a beautiful girl and is in need for a bodyguard (according to her mother) and Marilyn, a financially unstable girl who supports her two little sisters in need of money. When Marilyn accepts an offer to become a fake bodyguard for the princess she realises that maybe she isn't as good as a person she thought she was and our favourite princess realises life isn't as easy for others as it is for her.
