Eden Corvinus, a frail and sickly child, grew up in the shadow of Targoviste's cold walls, enduring abuse from a mother who despised her weakness. Her only solace was found in the warmth of Lisa Tepes, a kind healer who treated her like a daughter. Eden admired Lisa's strength and compassion, never knowing that her mentor would one day become the beloved of Vlad Tepes, the feared Dracula.

When Eden learned of the Church's plan to burn Lisa at the stake for witchcraft, she raced against time to warn her, but her frailty betrayed her once again. Forced to watch helplessly as the flames consumed the only person who showed her love, Eden's heart turned to stone. The night Dracula declared war on humanity, Eden vowed revenge-not only against those who killed Lisa, but against herself for her inability to save her.

Now, as the forces of darkness rise, and night creatures walk the Earth freely, Eden stands at a crossroad. Torn between her hatred for humanity and the remnants of the kindness Lisa once showed her, she must decide whether to join Dracula's war or forge her own path, one that might redeem her soul-or damn it forever.

Will the great love they feel for each other despite their long separation be strong enough to overcome all their differences? Will Samara and Vlad accept each other as they are now and fight for their love?
