Shadow Angel

The novel is about Adam Wagih... an exploitative, selfish character who believes by nature that everything is fine and that his typical actions do not need correction until he is afflicted with incurable cancer and is forced to take an experimental drug that sends him to another dimension where he finds a human monster doppelganger who feeds on the pain of his victims. He lives the struggle between confronting himself in this dimension or ignoring it and bearing the consequences... and while choosing the doors of fate that he sees as correct, his personality gradually transforms into another person he did not know... and in this struggle we find many paradoxes and surprises, page after page, and we are immersed in conflicting human feelings between what he was raised on and what he must tear himself away from his being to be, even if this leads to his death. Although most of the novel's events are fictional, the unity that the reader finds with the novel's hero is real, revealing the dark side within the character to choose between noble heroic feelings and abstract selfish realism...
