Sophia is an east coast mermaid with a light pink tail that sparkles in sunlight or moonlight. She is casted out on a quest, summoned by her necklace, to complete her destiny. Sophia has three days to prove herself worthy of keeping the siren's gift by saving a human's life. She has to travel on land for the first time and meet love?
Ryan is the typical geek at school who never gets people to notice him, especially girls.
Daniel is the first to make a big impression on Sophia and thinks that her heart will be his to keep.
Both are teenage brothers with the same love interest.
Then, there are some problems with jealousy, siren magic, and the difference between humans and mermaids.

His Dad decides to give out invitations to a dozen students at every high school in town for a chance to experience the luxury life. Jordan meets Angel one day on his Dad's yacht and he immediately falls in love with her. He's excited that Angel is one of the lucky few who were chosen for the luxury experience. When they arrive at the Forbidden Island, he's excited to show Angel and the students the tour of the Island, while staying away from a certain area. The Forbidden Island is said to hold a dark past. Angel and her friends leave the yacht and accidentally gets left behind when the yacht leaves. So they have to find a way off the Forbidden Island but it's more difficult than they thought. They decide to go to the area where the dark past took place. When they dwell deeper inside, they discover something truly magical.Complete

Mermaids are real, and unlike humans they have powers. Every mermaid is matched with an element when they are born, its not there choice but the worlds in a way, you see the mermaids tail color tells them their element and powers some are more powerful with it and other's not so much to useless. Green tails mean their element is Nature and earth, orange and yellow is light, purple is shadows, pink is wind and then there is blue for water and red for fire. But, when a princess is born with a tail holding 5 out of 6 of the elemental colors and starts getting hunted at the age of one. There was only one thing the king could do to keep his precious babygirl safe and that's what he had done. Amelia Light was adopted at the age of one. Knowing the truth she feel's that these people are her real family even if they aren't by blood. Living a normal life with a loving family and an annoying older brother, Amelia never expected her life to change in the way it did. She had grown up to love the water, she could always hold her breath for a long time and the people around her would always be filled with shock and bewilderment but, to her it was normal. At the age of 5 Amilea could hold her breath for a minute but as she gotten older it changed when she was 10 she could hold it for 5 minutes easy! Now that she is turning 16 soon she can hold it for almost and I mean almost 10 minutes. She had loved everything about it but the summer after she turned 15 some.. Difficulties happen and Amelia discovers she has a tail! A hard secret to keep, and lots of difficulties on the road ahead, will Amelia be able to get all the answer's she is looking for? The Sirens Calling
I'm writing a book about sirens and merpeople (yes, different things) and want opinions as I go along with the story and some support so I can continue writing! Sophia is part of the crew on the Major after hearing rumours the captain decided she has to die But as she was drowning she found a new power within her an turns into a siren Follow Sophia and her, later found, best friend Lucy on their adventures while discovering more and more of Sophia's powers. And I smell a romance between the friends blossoming And I have already written their get together scene so that is a promise I intend to keep ;) It's gonna be rated Mature when I post that scene, but until then it's off And that scene doesn't really hold any plot so you can skip it (I'll put a warning before and tell you when it's over though)
