Rosie's Tea Shop: a hole in the wall tea cafe in the little college town of Adrian, a place frequented by the elderly, has come under threat by a corporate coffee place a few blocks away, and it seems to be stealing business from old Aunt Rosie, who (almost singlehandedly) runs her tea shop, or at least that's how Kennedy, her niece, sees it. She only has a certain amount of time before her aunt's shop goes under, so it's up to her to save her aunt, as well as her favorite writing spot, isn't it? But can she withstand the pressure of it all alone? College, the shop, and tutoring Asher Larson, the son of the owners of the very store that threatens the small town's charming cafe? She certainly doesn't know. Can she save the store and still prepare for her dream of traveling Europe?
As they start to gain feelings for each other, Kennedy has to ask herself whether or not she is willing to modify her dreams to include him, and Asher is left to decide whether the love he has found with Kennedy is worth losing all that he has: family, job, and place to live.
But the true question is whether or not they can save the tea shop together, or if they are doomed to fail from the start.
