Alexandra Grant is upset about her move from beautiful, beach filled California to big city, fog covered New York. Her parent's marriage is falling apart and to top it all off, she'll be spending the rest of her summer and her senior year in New York with her (single) goofy uncle Brian. The worst part? Blake Johnson, the school player; and Alexandra is his next target. The best part? Her gorgeous new best friend Bridget and her friends Isaac and Katie, who decide to not only help Alexandra get away from Blake, but also play him back. Throw in the cute boy next door Hunter Williams and Blake's very best friend and obnoxious wingman Damian Jones and it's going to be a bumpy ride playing the player.

When Sam moves away when they're nine, they promise each other that they will never change and that one day they will see each other again. But neither of them plan on Sam coming back to California halfway through their senior year completely different. Meeting again at a party, they have no clue who the other is but see what one another is like. Sam is a lanky nerd turned hot player and Briana is a chubby goodie-two-shoes turned hot bad ass. Will these to clash and against all odds come together? Or will a painful memory from Briana's past push them away before anything can happen? And what happens when another new kid comes along with that memory and stands inbetween their chances?
