Tenchi Masaki is a teenager training under his grandfather at a peaceful countryside shrine. Among the shrine's many secrets lies a forbidden cave, one Tenchi is warned never to enter.

But curiosity gets the better of him, and one day, Tenchi ventures inside. What he finds isn't a cave at all, but an ancient labyrinth of metal. At its heart stands a mysterious statue of a boy-one that Tenchi accidentally awakens from centuries of stasis.

Little does he know, releasing this boy will mark the beginning of Tenchi's greatest challenges yet.
