We arrive at the beach. My mom pulls the door to the silver minivan open. " Time to get out, guys!" She says, plastering a fake smile on her face. Underneath all the concealer and foundation, I can still se plum-colored circles under her eyes. I groan both physically and emotionally. Brian, my stepdad, gives me a disapproving look that seems to say ' shut up and deal with it. ' My twin  brother, Jordan, hops out of the car and immediately races to the boardwalk. My mom makes her way to the other side of the car and starts unbuckling my sister Bethany from her carseat. I get up and stretch my legs, weary from the long car ride from our home in Warrenton, Virginia. I smell the scent of freshly-brewed coffee and spun sugar. I walk as slowly as humanly possible and drag myself to the surf shop I'll be working at for the rest of the summer. Whoopee!All Rights Reserved
