"Pokoknya kalau kita udah nikah besok, kita nunda punya momongan dulu ya, aku mau pacaran dulu sama kamu," ucap Bima sambil memegang tangan Luna, pacarnya.
"Nggak boleh gitu sayang, namanya nikah salah satu tujuannya itu ya punya keturunan," jelas Luna.
"Kan aku bilangnya nunda, bukan tidak mau punya," Bima masih tetap pada ucapan awal.
"Tetap tidak boleh, diralat buruan, dikasih cepat Alhamdulillah, ditunda ya tetap Alhamdulillah, pamali tau mendahului takdir," Luna jadi was-was.
"Gitu ya, habisnya aku masih pengen banget berdua sama kamu sayang," Bima semakin intens menggenggam tangan Luna.
"Iya sayang, kamu pulang dulu gih, nanti dicariin Umik."
"Sini dulu dong," Bima merengkuh pinggang Luna supaya lebih dekat.
Tangannya aktif mengangkat dagu Luna, mau tidak mau kedua mata bertemu. Saling berpandangan dan saling mendamba. Sebelum setan berhasil menguasai akal pikir, Luna buru-buru sadar. Melepas pelukan Bima yang sorotnya menahan sesuatu.
Luna tersenyum, memberikan gestur angka satu yang dia tempel di bibir Bima, "sabar sayang."
"Luunn, nikah yukkkk," ucap Bima.

Excerpt:
I looked up and stared. My reflection looked back at me in the mirror of the dark room. My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow.
Glowing eyes were not normal.
Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
What was I then? For that, I had no answer
