Aiden Maclellan is a troubled, estranged teen. After his family moved from the Beauxbatons and his mother joins a committee at Hogwarts, Aiden is forced to attend. Little does he know how feeble-minded his opinion was to enroll when he meets Marco Ryder, one of Hogwarts' best Quidditch players in history. When he does the unexpected against the expected, the two create a solace bond that stores more depth than most friendships ever will become. After approaching many other students, he takes one false step on the creaky wood, so loud that it isolates him from the world he once thought he knew.
